Dear Beloved in Christ,

Ecumenical Sunday: Unity, Faith, and Action  (Joshua 4:1–11)

Ecumenism calls Christians from different denominations to live as one family in Christ. Our shared faith unites us beyond our differences.

The twelve stones placed after crossing the River Jordan were a memorial to God’s saving grace. Each stone represented one tribe, and together they stood as a sign of unity and a witness to God’s mighty work.

Today, the Church may be many, but in Christ we are one body. When we live in unity, grow in faith, and act in love, our life together becomes a powerful testimony to God’s saving grace.

ఎక్యుమెనిజం అనేది భిన్నమైన క్రైస్తవ సంఘాలన్నింటినీ ఒక కుటుంబంగా కలిపే పిలుపు. మన భేదాలకన్నా క్రీస్తులో ఉన్న మా సామూహిక విశ్వాసమే మమ్మల్ని ఏకం చేస్తుంది.

యోర్దాను నదిని దాటిన తరువాత, దేవుని రక్షణ కృపను స్మరించేందుకు పన్నెండు రాళ్లను ఒక చోట నిలిపారు. ప్రతి రాయి ఒక గోత్రాన్ని సూచిస్తుంది. అవన్నీ కలిసి దేవుని మహత్తర కార్యానికి సాక్ష్యంగా నిలిచాయి.

ఈ రోజు సంఘం అనేక రూపాల్లో ఉన్నా, క్రీస్తులో మనమంతా ఒక శరీరమే. ఐక్యతలో జీవిస్తూ, విశ్వాసంలో పెరుగుతూ, ప్రేమతో కార్యాచరణలో పాల్గొన్నప్పుడు, మన జీవితం దేవుని రక్షణ కృపకు శక్తివంతమైన సాక్ష్యంగా మారుతుంది.
